You can't feed it faster or you will will risk cold jams in your extruder. I am sorry to say but FFF based 3d Printing is just not up to productions speeds and standards and never will be simply due to the way the machine operates and they way the filament is melted in deposited. For areas that show, tight corners and holes you will need to drop down to 40mm/s. That being said, that is for the infill, in perimeters, and areas that don't show. If you are running on Simplyf圓D then that would be 3600mm/m. Your max speed for printing on this machine as I have been testing the last few days is 65mm/s, maybe 70mm/s but that is pushing it. I mean at the price of $400 each whats to loose? You can then maybe meet your expectations of time required. Your only solution is to buy one or two more machines. The speeds you want to run at exceed the capacity of this machine. I know you are trying to use this machine for a business.īut the simple truth is you are expecting more from 3D printing then it is capable of. It is there to prevent the extruder from pushing filament too fast and it not fully melting. There is a max feed rate and it cannot be exceeded. Then I ramped it up 20 notches to 100 and the motor just stopped. I watched it the entire 4 hours it took to print. I usually run between 225 and 240 and my bed set between 85-110. I know one guy that runs a business similar to yours and he runs 10 machines 24/7. As I mentioned in your other thread where we found you where pushing the machine too hard, if you need to meet production schedules then buy and run more machines. You are hitting that limit and you have already stated the solution.
There is limit to the speed that it can feed versus set temp. If anyone has any information on how I can fix the problem, it would be greatly appreciated!!Īgain you are expecting too much. Now 80 or under it works fine! I'm using third party filament, 1KG spools, and I don't mind the wait for my parts to get done, but honestly, Im using this printer for business. After countless hours of calibrating, I finally got a good quality print, but if I set the feedrate any higher than 80, the feed motor just stops. I have a Da Vinci 1.0 with the "J37" board.
